Willmar Auto Value Donates Scan Tool to Ridgewater College

Willmar, Minn. — March 8, 2013 — On February 21, Doug Johnson, salesperson for the Willmar Auto Value parts store, Kevin McCarthy, manager of the Willmar Auto Value parts store, and Jim Gunstad, tool and equipment sales representative for Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc., presented Joe Wambeke, instructor at the Ridgewater College, with a new Genisys EVO® scan tool. Students enrolled in the auto body collision program will use the state-of-the-art tool to access real world proven fixes, maintenance tests and resets, and industry leading diagnostic information.

“Today’s vehicles consist of very complex systems. As a result, the more hands-on experience a student can have with the latest in repair technology, the better they will be prepared for a career in the automotive industry,” commented McCarthy. “Auto Value is proud to support the Ridgewater College auto body collision repair program and thrilled we could play a role in enhancing the classroom experience for so many students.”
