Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH) is a third-generation family-owned aftermarket auto parts distributor based in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. APH was established in 1920 in Minneapolis, as National Bushing & Parts Company and today operates Auto Value parts stores throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Michigan, Montana, Iowa, Nebraska and Wyoming. With its network of nearly 300 corporate and independent stores, APH’s team consists of 1,800 employees.

APH is part of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in the world. As the source for parts and service for more than 2,200 parts stores and 3,000 certified service centers across North America, the Alliance prides itself on responding to the individual automotive needs of each customer.

History
1920 – National Bushing & Parts Co. incorporates in Minneapolis
1922 – First store opens in downtown Minneapolis on Harmon Place
1938 – Jack Bartlett joins the company
1959 – Jack Bartlett becomes a financial partner
1965 – Jack Bartlett and partners establish Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH)
1971 – John Bartlett joins the company as the second generation of leadership
1972 – APH opens a 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse in St. Cloud
1976 – Jack Bartlett passes away; John Bartlett takes over as president
1991 – APH acquires Wilson Brothers, with four stores in northwestern Minnesota
1993 – APH acquires M & L Auto Supply, with seven stores in southern Minnesota
1998 – APH acquires O.K. Auto Parts and its 14 stores
2000 – Corey Bartlett, the third generation of the Bartlett family, joins the company; Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance formed
2006 – APH moves into current 160,000 sq. ft. facility
2008 – Corey Bartlett becomes president
2013 – APH joins HDA Truck Pride
2014 – APH acquires United Auto Supply and its 13 stores
2017 – APH acquires Hedahls and its 22 stores, including three BENCO Equipment locations
2018 – APH expands warehouse by 40,000 sq. ft.
2019 – BENCO Equipment opens St. Cloud location
2020 – APH celebrates its 100th anniversary; acquires Weaver Auto Parts and Sturdevant’s Auto Parts
