Wadena Auto Value Donates $1,000 for Tornado Relief

Wadena, Minn. – August 2, 2010 – On July 22nd, Mike Reed and Wayne Brasel, from the Wadena Auto Value parts store, presented Wayne Wolden, mayor of Wadena, with a $1,000 check for the Wadena Tornado Relief Fund.  The money will be used to meet the needs of impacted families and help with volunteer clean-up efforts.

In addition to the $1,000 check, the Wadena Auto Value parts store, in partnership with other local businesses and the American Red Cross, donated and prepared meals, on two separate occasions, for more then 1,000 relief workers and victims of the tornado.
