During APH’s spring Dinner and a Show stop in St. Cloud, Minnesota, more than 50 supplier partners and APH staff gathered to take part in the 12th annual Jim Kruger Memorial Chili Cook-Off.

This year’s chili cook-off champion is Tyler McCartney, a territory sales manager for Standard Motor Products.

In addition to crowning a new chili cook-off champion, the event also marks the official kickoff of APH’s annual WACOSA fundraising campaign. Dollars raised go towards the WACOSA’s mission of providing individuals with disabilities the opportunity to work and live in their community. More than 650 adults with disabilities benefit from the nonprofit’s day program.

The annual WACOSA fundraiser is co-chaired by Jay Knopick, Action Sales + Marketing; Mark Hoffman, East Penn Manufacturing; John Oster, Tall Sales; Pat Ryan, NorthPro Representatives; Gary Stumm, WIX Filters; and Brad Johnson, N.A. Williams.

Last year, APH and its supplier partners presented a check for $305,000 to WACOSA, which brought the nine-year total to $1.5 million.
