Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. Welcomes Solon Springs Auto Parts

St. Cloud Minn. — August 22, 2013 — Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH), a St. Cloud-based aftermarket auto parts distributor and store group, announces the addition of Solon Springs Auto Parts to its family of independently-owned Auto Value parts stores. With the addition, APH’s store count climbs to 116 across the Upper Midwest.

Solon Springs Auto Parts is owned and operated by Glenn Rice. The store has been serving the city of Solon Springs and its surrounding communities with parts and supplies since 1983. Rice, has father, Larry, and late brother, Bob, were the original proprietors of the business.

Since joining Auto Value on August 12th, Rice and APH have been busy enhancing and expanding the store’s inventory to better meet the needs of area businesses and residents. Together, they also reset the entire retail area with the goal of providing a better overall shopping experience for serious do-it-yourself customers. Rice is confident the changes, coupled with overnight delivery from APH, will allow his customers greater access to the parts and supplies they need, when they need them.

On the service side of the business, Solon Springs Auto Parts will continue to offer custom hydraulic hoses, tire repair service, free battery testing, as well as drum, rotor or flywheel resurfacing.

The parts store will be hosting a re-grand opening celebration, in conjunction with its 30th anniversary, on August 29th and 30th. The two-day event is open to the public and will feature a free lunch, in-store specials and a chance to win a $250 Best Buy gift card. A ribbon cutting ceremony is slated for noon on Friday.

Rice is excited to be a part of the Auto Value family and is as equally enthused to invite new and existing customers to visit the store, see the improvements and meet the team. Solon Springs Auto Parts is located at 11569 Old Highway 53 and is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
