Auto Value Opens New Location in Lake Hallie

St. Cloud, Minn. — June 24, 2014 — Lake Hallie Auto Value opened its doors in Chippewa Falls on June 2 in the building that once housed Kurth Heating and Cooling at 2945 South Prairie View Road. The store is owned by Jim Meyers, owner of three Auto Value parts stores in Eau Claire.

Meyers and the Eau Claire Auto Parts team have been serving the Chippewa Valley with parts, supplies and service since 1992 and is one of only a few remaining groups of locally-owned auto parts stores in midwest Wisconsin. “We have earned a significant amount of business in the Lake Hallie area over the years,” said Meyers. “Adding a fourth location will provide us with greater exposure and allow us to better serve our existing commercial and retail customers.”

Lake Hallie Auto Value will stock a wide variety of parts, supplies and accessories for automotive, agricultural and recreational applications. The parts store also offers paint, custom hydraulic hoses and free electrical testing. For hard-to-find parts, Lake Hallie Auto Value will be receiving twice-a-day delivery from Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc., a Minnesota-based aftermarket auto parts distributor.

Justin Larsen, assistant manager at the Eau Claire West location, has been promoted to manager and will oversee the new store. Larsen is an ASE certified parts specialist with years of aftermarket and OE experience. In addition to Larsen, the store will employ two full-time and four part-time parts professionals.

A Grand Opening celebration is scheduled for July 2. The event will be open to the public and feature a free lunch, in-store specials and a chance to win a vacation package for two to the 2014 Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway. A formal ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m.

Meyers invites everyone to stop in, meet the staff and take a look at the new store. Lake Hallie Auto Value’s business hours are 7:30 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday. The parts store can be reached at 715-832-1647.
