Auto Value Counterperson of the Year 2009

St. Cloud, Minn. – January 22, 2010 – Automotive Parts Headquarters, a St. Cloud-based automotive aftermarket distributor and store group, named Cody Havlick as the recipient of the 2009 Auto Value Counterperson of the Year award.  Havlick is a counterperson at the Two Harbors Auto Value parts store.  He was recognized during an awards banquet at Automotive Parts Headquarters’ annual Winter Conference on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Cragun’s Resort in Brainerd, Minnesota.

Each year Auto Value parts store managers throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and Michigan have the opportunity to nominate a counterperson they believe deserves the award.

“Cody is a solid human being and genuinely cares about his customers,” said Al Peterson, Two Harbors Auto Value owner and manager.  “He is eager to learn new things and not afraid to roll-up his sleeves and get his hands dirty.”

Havlick began his career in the automotive industry when he was eighteen-years-old as a parts runner for, what was then, a corporate Bumper-to-Bumper store in Two Harbors.  He was promoted to counterperson eight years ago when the parts store was sold to Al Peterson.

When not behind the counter, Havlick enjoys spending time with his family and dog, participating in road rallies, snowmobiling and working on vehicles.
