APH Opens New Location in St. Croix Falls

St. Cloud, Minn. – June 14, 2012 – Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH), a Minnesota-based aftermarket auto parts distributor and store group, recently completed the acquisition of an independently-owned NAPA auto parts store in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. The newly acquired location will operate as an Auto Value parts store and bring APH’s total number of company-owned stores to 79.

APH purchased the parts store from Dave Offerdahl. Offerdahl and his family have been serving the St. Croix Falls community with parts and supplies since the early 1980s. He will be joining the Auto Value team as a counter salesperson. St. Croix Falls native Stephen Points will manage the store.

“I would like to thank all of our customers for their support over the years,” said Offerdahl. “By becoming a part of the APH family, we’ll be even better equipped to help our customers get the quality parts and service they’ve come to rely on.”

The building will undergo significant remodeling and remerchandising as it transitions to a new Auto Value parts store. Offerdahl and Points have been working closely with APH on stocking the store with the right mix of parts, accessories and supplies for automotive, agricultural and heavy-duty applications. For those hard-to-find products, the store will be receiving midday an overnight delivery from APH’s distribution center in St. Cloud. Offerdahl and Points are confident the market-based inventory, professionally merchandised showroom and twice-a-day delivery from APH will provide customers with an outstanding shopping experience.

On the service side of the business, the store team is trained and equipped to test batteries, starters and alternators. They will also resurface brake drums and rotors.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for later this summer. Until then, Offerdahl, Points and the entire team invite everyone to stop in and take a look at Auto Value’s product offering. The store is located at 114 S. Washington Street. Business hours will be from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday.
