APH Acquires Southern Minnesota Auto Supply

APH recently completed the acquisition of Southern Minnesota Auto Supply in Rochester, Minnesota. APH purchased the location from the Koblitz family.

Since 1975, the Koblitz family has been taking care of automotive service and body shop customers in and around the Rochester area. Clarence and his son, Kirk, have built their business on service, and APH is honored to continue that proud tradition. In 2007, they acquired APH’s store #3, the third National Bushing location that began serving Rochester in 1927, which just happened to be down the block from Southern Minnesota Auto Supply. At that same time, they joined the APH team of independent stores.

“Clarence and Kirk have been very supportive of APH and for that we are grateful,” commented APH President and CEO, Corey Bartlett. “They helped us grow at a critical time — the year after we moved into our new distribution center. A big thank you and congrats to Clarence and Kirk, who are both looking forward to retirement.”
