APH Acquires Partsmax Inc.
APH recently completed the acquisition of Partsmax Inc. in Little Falls, Minnesota. APH purchased the location, doing business as Auto Value, from Tad Farris.
Tad Farris’ father, Don Farris, got his start in Long Prairie, Minnesota, selling cars and running a service station before buying the Little Falls National Bushing store, the twelfth store in the National Bushing network at that time. In 1962, Don Farris returned to Long Prairie and expanded the National Bushing footprint with an additional store. A few years later, he opened a third location in Staples. During the 1990s, Farris’ group of stores transitioned to the national Auto Value jobber program.
“Tad and Don Farris have been an integral part of the APH family for more than 60 years, and I could not be prouder and more appreciative of their support,” commented APH President and CEO, Corey Bartlett. “The Little Falls store is a powerhouse in their market and will be a fantastic fit with our corporate stores in central Minnesota.”
In 2020, APH acquired the Long Prairie and Staples Auto Value locations from Tad Farris.
