A Decade of Impact: APH’s Annual Fundraiser Raises $406,000 for WACOSA, Surpasses $2.3 Million Milestone

WACOSA representatives, APH team members, Bartlett family members and supplier partners.

APH, in collaboration with its supplier partners and the Bartlett family, is delighted to announce the remarkable success of its annual fundraiser for adults with disabilities. This year’s event saw an incredible outpouring of support, with all donations generously matched by both APH and the Bartlett family. This collaborative effort resulted in a total contribution of $406,000, pushing the ten-year grand total to $2.3 million. The funds raised will be directed towards supporting WACOSA and its day programs, which offer meaningful work opportunities to more than 650 adults with disabilities in central Minnesota.

To express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to everyone who rallied behind this year’s fundraiser, John and Nancy Bartlett hosted a cocktail reception and lobster dinner at their home. The highlight of the gathering was the presentation of the donation to Nancy Betts, the executive director of WACOSA.

“The profound impact of this annual contribution, spearheaded by the Bartlett family and APH, has a transformative effect on countless lives in central Minnesota,” remarked Betts. “Irrespective of the barriers these adults face, the financial support extended to WACOSA through these contributions ensures that each individual receives the customized structural, physical and personal assistance necessary to reach their full potential.”

Corey Bartlett, the CEO of APH, expressed his astonishment at the overwhelming support received. “We are truly amazed by the generosity of our supporters,” he stated. “Every dollar raised will play a significant role in advancing WACOSA’s mission to provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to work and live in their community. We cannot overstate how proud and thankful we are for the support from our supplier partners.”

The annual fundraiser is organized by a dedicated team, including Jay Knopick and Brad Johnson from N.A. Williams, Mark Hoffman from East Penn Manufacturing, John Oster from Tall Sales, Pat Ryan and Kyle Shroyer from NorthPro Representatives, and Tony Migas from Dorman Products.
