2013 College Scholarship Recipients

St. Cloud, Minn. — December 20, 2013 — Michael Tangen, Cassandra Tetrick and Derek Willenbring were three of the 35 students nationally selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship from Auto Value to use at the trade school, college or university of their choice.

The three scholarship recipients are students who are employed or whose parents are employed by an Auto Value warehouse, parts store or certified service center.

Auto Value has awarded scholarships for the past 17 years. Since the program began, more than a quarter of a million dollars has been dedicated to helping students continue their education.

Michael Tangen is from Roseau, Minnesota. He will be attending the University of North Dakota, majoring is business/marketing-management.

Cassandra Tetrick is from Aitkin, Minnesota. She will be attending St. Cloud Technical and Community College, majoring in elementary education.

Derek Willenbring is from Paynesville, Minnesota. He will be attending St. Cloud Technical and Community College, majoring in information technology.
