Steve’s Auto Parts Joins Auto Value Parts Stores Family
Fosston, Minn. – September 11, 2009 – Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH), a St. Cloud-based aftermarket distributor, recently announced it has completed the changeover of Steve’s Auto Parts, formerly doing business as CARQUEST Auto Parts. As a result of the changeover, the store will now be known as Auto Value of Fosston and become Automotive Parts Headquarters’ thirty-fourth independently owned auto parts store.
“Steve’s Auto Parts commitment to experienced team members, quality parts and exceptional customer service is exactly aligned with our philosophy, making this an excellent fit,” commented Corey Bartlett, third generation family member and APH president. “It is a pleasure to welcome Steve’s Auto Parts team members and customers to the Auto Value parts stores family.”
Steve’s Auto Parts has been serving the do-it-yourself and professional installer markets in and around Fosston with parts and supplies since 1996. The parts store is owned by Steve Godtland and managed by Scott Riveland. Godtland purchased the business in 1996, when at that time it was known as Schraeder Auto Parts. In 2003, he relocated the parts store into the former Food Pride building.
Since joining Automotive Parts Headquarters’ network of Auto Value parts stores, Godtland and his team of five fulltime employees and one part-time employee have been busy customizing and expanding the store’s inventory of aftermarket parts and supplies. Most notably, they’ve increased the store’s stock of heavy-duty and ag parts, expanded the area of paint and body supplies, and added a line of aftermarket all terrain vehicle replacement parts and maintenance items. Godtland is confident the new inventory, coupled with midday and overnight delivery service from Automotive Parts Headquarters, will allow his customer to get the right parts and supplies, right away.
Aside from the customized and expanded inventory, Steve’s Auto Parts will continue to offer a variety of services. For instance, the store is equipped to make custom hydraulic hoses for all types of applications, from farm machinery to construction equipment. They also test alternators, batteries and starters. Lastly, Godtland and his staff will continue to offer UPS and Spee-Dee delivery services, as well as, Golf Cars Plus.
“We are enthusiastic about joining the Auto Value team and want to thank our loyal customers for their patience during this transition,” stated Godtland. “Automotive Parts Headquarters has been very successful as a distributor serving the growing aftermarket, and we will now have the resources as part of Auto Value to realize our full potential.”
Godtland invites everyone to stop by and checkout the exciting changes his team, with the assistance of Automotive Parts Headquarters, has made to the store. The store is located at 102 Kaiser Avenue South and is open from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday.
