Northern Auto Parts Joins Auto Value Parts Stores Family

International Falls, Minn. – April 19, 2011 – Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH), a St. Cloud-based aftermarket auto parts distributor and store group, is pleased to welcome Northern Auto Parts into its family of independently-owned Auto Value parts stores.

Northern Auto Parts, owned by Roy and Todd Janssen, has been serving service dealers, body shops, loggers and serious do-it-yourself customers in and around the International Falls community since 1959.  The rest of their experienced store staff includes manager, Chris Kossow, counter specialists, Cory Reuter and Dylan Janssen, and machinist, Zak Oien.

Since joining the Auto Value parts stores family on April 11th, Todd Janssen and Kossow have been busy working closely with APH on enhancing their inventory coverage for automotive, heavy-duty, marine and agricultural equipment to better meet the needs of local businesses and residents.  The store’s retail area also received an overhaul during the changeover.  In addition to a fresh coat of paint, new shelving was installed to accommodate an expanded merchandise assortment for do-it-yourself customers.  Janssen and Kossow are confident the improved product availability and showroom reset will provide a better overall shopping experience for their customers.  Furthermore, the aforementioned changes, coupled with overnight delivery from APH, will allow Northern Auto Parts’ customers access to $10 million of parts, supplies and accessories.

Northern Auto Parts will continue to offer a complete line of DuPont refinishes, parts and service for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, free electrical testing, and a full-service machine shop.  In fact, the store’s machine shop has the tools and equipment to handle all of the areas machining needs, from piecework to a complete engine rebuild.

The store will be hosting a grand opening celebration later this year.  The event will be open to the public and feature a ribbon cutting ceremony, as well as free food, beverages, prizes and in-store specials.
