Automotive Parts Headquarters Named by Aftermarket Business as One of the Top Forty Auto Parts Chains of 2008

St. Cloud, Minn. – February 3, 2009 – Automotive Parts Headquarters, a St. Cloud-based automotive aftermarket distributor, has been named in the January issue of Aftermarket Business magazine as one of the top forty auto parts chains of 2008.  Listed as the seventeenth largest auto parts chain in 2007, Automotive Parts Headquarters rose to the fourteenth spot in 2008.

Automotive Parts Headquarters is the only company headquartered in Minnesota to make the list.

Each January, Aftermarket Business magazine reports on the nation’s Top 40 auto parts distributors, ranking businesses based on their total company-owned stores.

Of the 40 auto parts chains listed, 18 companies, including Automotive Parts Headquarters, reported a growth through 2008.  Ten companies reported remaining the same size compared to last year, while 11 saw declines in store counts.
