Auto Value Strengthens Presence in Western Wisconsin
St. Cloud, Minn. — June 30, 2014 — Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH), a St. Cloud-based aftermarket auto parts distributor and store group, recently completed the acquisition of four CARQUEST Auto Parts stores in western Wisconsin. The newly acquired locations will be known as Auto Value stores and bring APH’s number of company-owned stores to 85.
APH purchased the stores from Matt Anderson, owner and operator of NextGen Companies. The stores are located in Clear Lake, Cumberland, New Richmond and Turtle Lake, and have been servicing the area for 35 years. Anderson will continue to run NextGen Motors, NextGen Motorsports, and NextGen Watersports, which were not part of the sale.
“We are focused on growing and we are delighted to add these four locations to our corporate store family,” said Corey Bartlett, third generation family member and president of APH. “NextGen has provided a high level of service to their customers for decades, and we’re excited to continue that tradition.”
Each location will undergo significant remodeling and remerchandising as they transform into new Auto Value parts stores. Once completed, each store will feature a localized inventory of parts, supplies and accessories for automotive, agricultural, commercial and recreational applications. For hard-to-find parts, each location has access to twice-a-day delivery from APH’s distribution center. On the service side, the parts stores will offer paint, custom hydraulic hoses and electrical testing.
