APH Welcomes Doug Wencl’s Auto Parts Store to it’s Family

APH is delighted to announce that Doug Wencl’s auto parts store in Owatonna, Minnesota, is now part of its network of independently-owned stores. This well-established parts store will now operate under the Auto Value banner.

Doug Wencl’s store began in 1982 when his father, Myron Wencl, opened the original location. After moving to the current building in 1984 — an establishment dating back to 1952 that previously served as an implement dealer and General Trading — Doug took ownership in 2002. For the past 42 years, the store has been a member of the Carquest program. The family legacy continues with Doug’s son-in-law, Trinity Emery, who joined the team in 2012 and was promoted to outside sales in 2023.
