APH Raises $454,000 for Adults with Disabilities
APH, in collaboration with its valued supplier partners and the Bartlett family, is delighted to announce the success of its annual fundraiser dedicated to supporting adults with disabilities. This year’s event witnessed an incredible outpouring of generosity, with all donations matched by both APH and the Bartlett family. This collaborative effort resulted in a 2024 contribution of $454,000, bringing the twelve-year grand total to $2.7 million. The funds raised will directly benefit WACOSA and its day programs, which provide meaningful work opportunities for over 650 adults with disabilities in central Minnesota.
A highlight of this year’s event was the participation of WACOSA’s resident artist, Dan Mondloch, who led a hands-on art experience. Participants from APH and its suppliers worked together to create collage pieces that Mondloch will incorporate into a final artwork commemorating the day and honoring all contributors.
Kevin Mack, VP of merchandising at APH, remarked, “Dan Mondloch’s time and talent were invaluable to this year’s fundraiser. We are deeply grateful for his contributions. It was truly inspiring to see our suppliers and APH staff come together to create beautiful pieces of artwork. This collaborative spirit enriches our event and reinforces our shared commitment to supporting adults with disabilities in our community.”
Following the art experience, John and Nancy Bartlett hosted a cocktail reception and lobster-themed dinner at their home to express their deep appreciation for this year’s support. A memorable moment of the evening was the presentation of a check to Nancy Betts, the executive director of WACOSA.
Betts stated, “The profound impact of this annual contribution, spearheaded by the Bartlett family and APH, transforms countless lives in central Minnesota. Despite the barriers these adults face, the financial support extended to WACOSA ensures that each individual receives the customized assistance necessary to reach their full potential.”
Corey Bartlett, CEO of APH, expressed his gratitude for the remarkable support received this year. “We are deeply thankful for the kindness of our supporters. Each dollar raised plays a crucial role in furthering WACOSA’s mission to empower individuals with disabilities to succeed and thrive in their communities. We are incredibly proud and grateful for the ongoing support from our supplier partners.”
The annual fundraiser is organized by a dedicated team, including Jay Knopick and Brad Johnson from N.A. Williams, Mark Hoffman from East Penn Manufacturing, John Oster from Tall Sales, and Pat Ryan and Kyle Shroyer from NorthPro Representatives.
