Job Summary:
An Automotive Machinist is responsible to complete work requested by customers in a timely and cost effective manner and to the specification given by the customer. May also perform miscellaneous duties as requested by the shop manager or store manager.
Qualifications:
This position requires good verbal and written communication skills. Must be a self starter and able to effectively work with people at all levels including management, customers, vendors and co-workers. Should have strong organizational skills and be familiar with store and shop operating procedures. Degree in Automotive Machining or equivalent experience.
Requirements:
This position works primarily indoors in a shop environment, subject to significant temperature variations and shop conditions. Based on this working environment and the nature of the job, this position must be able to stand for prolonged periods on hard surfaces, frequent bending, stooping, stretching and climbing stairs. This position must be able to ocassionially lift up to 75lbs.
